Mr. Shad is an Intermediate Associate with the Transportation team at 30 Forensic Engineering, bringing over eight years of specialized experience in traffic safety, modelling and simulation, as well as transportation planning. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Windsor in Transportation Engineering, with a focus on the microsimulation analysis of autonomous vehicle driving characteristics. He has also earned a Master's degree in Highway and Transportation Engineering, concentrating on pavement management systems. Mr. Shad's professional portfolio covers areas such as traffic safety, traffic simulation and modelling, traffic impact studies, highway geometric design, development of Transportation Master Plans (TMP), and Environmental Assessments (EA) studies. He is proficient in using various traffic modelling and simulation software tools, including Synchro/SimTraffic, Aimsun, and VISSIM. Mr. Shad is a licensed Professional Engineer in the provinces of Ontario and British Colombia and a certified Road Safety Professional (RSP), Level 1.
