Mr. Ryan Hicks is a Senior Associate with the Fire and Electrical Investigation Group and the Collision Reconstruction Group at 30 Forensic Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical, Automotive, and Materials Engineering from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Science from the University of Guelph. Mr. Hicks is a certified fire and explosion investigator (CFEI) and a certified vehicle fire investigator (CVFI). Mr. Hicks has been a forensic investigator since October 2015, wherein he has focused on fire, collision reconstruction and product failure investigations. He has conducted investigations related to accident causation, vehicle dynamics, and product failure involving on-highway heavy commercial vehicles, trailers, and passenger vehicles. He also has 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry with a focus on product design and testing. Mr. Hicks is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
