Dr. Julia de Lange is an Associate with the Biomechanics & Personal Injury Assessment group, specializing in high-rate injury causation. Her Ph.D. research focused on upper extremity injuries for ballistic trauma applications. She also has injury biomechanics experience investigating the injury tolerance thresholds for the human foot/ankle complex under combined ankle rotations for vehicle collisions. She has taught biomedical engineering courses at McMaster University, and is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
