30 Forensic Engineering Strengthens Civil & Structural Engineering Group with the Appointment of Daniel Lee-Kim M.A.Sc.

TORONTO, ON, NOVEMBER 4, 2024 – 30 Forensic Engineering, Canada’s leading multidisciplinary forensics firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Lee-Kim M.A.Sc., as Associate, within our Toronto office Civil & Structural Engineering group.

Daniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering & Management and a Masters of Applied Science from McMaster University, where his research focused on structural dynamics and seismic protection. Daniel has a background in structural design in commercial, residential, and institutional sectors while specializing in numerous design materials throughout Canada and the United States. His projects include designing new construction high-rise condominiums, commercial renovation and fit outs, repurposing existing commercial structures, and designing municipal community centers. In addition to providing the structural design for these components, Daniel ensures strong communication within multidisciplinary project teams while providing high-level documents to colleagues and clients alike. At 30 Forensic Engineering, Daniel excels in conducting investigations into structural component and foundation failures or damage. He assesses structural designs and construction deficiencies, providing analysis of building systems and structural failures. Daniel also specializes in crafting detailed structural remediation packages, including emergency response plans, temporary shoring solutions, and comprehensive repair or reconstruction designs. His work ensures safety and integrity, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement and resilience.
