30 Forensic Engineering Announces Promotion of Derek Wong B.Sc., B.A.Sc., P.Eng., to Senior Associate, Calgary Collision Reconstruction Group

CALGARY, AB, MARCH, 2026 – 30 Forensic Engineering, Canada’s leading multidisciplinary forensics firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Derek Wong B.Sc., B.A.Sc., P.Eng., to Senior Associate within our Calgary office Collision Reconstruction group.

Derek has been a key member of 30 Forensic Engineering’s Collision Reconstruction group since 2018, with a brief hiatus. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive Engineering specialization) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is a Certified Forensic Video Technician (CFVT) through LEVA. He conducts vehicle and site examinations involving pedestrians and a broad range of vehicles, including passenger cars, commercial trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and heavy equipment. Well-regarded in the Calgary market, Derek is known for his technical precision and clear communication – qualities his many clients consistently value. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and a licensed Professional Engineer in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.
